    Beech 1900 Corporate Operators

Menards Proline- Good luck ever talking to one of them. I see their 1900 at DPA all the time. They stop just long enough to shut down one engine, load the people, get their clearance and restart the engine. I always wondered how many 1900's they had though, now I know. On the KA 350 route...

    Starting a 135 company

I believe that Professional Pilot had an article in the Feb. 2002 issue. All it really talks about is the differnce of part 91 vs. opening a 135 to help suplament the costs of a flight dept. It does refer to the Atlanta FSDO, saying that they have the best site for getting infomation. Hope this...

    Cherry Air

I have a family member that used to be the chief pilot at cherry. Tht was about 2 years ago now so anything I know is totally out of date. From what I know and have heard through him, oppsahh is for the most part right on. I don't agree with the crappy training part, maybe he just got there at a...

    Mesa/San Juan??

You might think about reading the tread about mesa and whats going on with hiring. I would suggest that you do all your homework on Mesa and just make sure that this is the best choice for you. Remember what if mesas not hiring or you wash out of training? You have 300 tt and no real experience...

    Seaplane possible in the midwest

Try waukegan wings, they have or had a new 182 on floats, or at least they did 2 years ago. I only know because I won a ride in it, but never used the coupon. DUH! ummmmmm, I wonder if I could still use it 2 years later. Also try this, I say this on the pilots board out at Dekalb about a month...

Training plane - C152 vs Piper Warrior

I'll just add about 3 cents more. I learned on both a 172 and an archer. I had no problem switching from one to the other. I would say this fly both and make up your own mind, don't get all bogged down on the high wing/low wing thing. I would suggest that the last 5 hours or so before your...
