A SWA pilot told me that SWA is getting 10 more a/c for 2004 to bring the net to 40 and 57 deliveries for the year. The 737s are from Delta production slots. That's what I heard, if it's true it will not be long until we know for sure. Anybody heard anything that would prove/disprove?

On www.southwest.com it now states that a type rating is required for employment but not for interviewing. It looks that this website has just been updated so it looks like it is a new thing. I guess good news for the people that wanted to interview without getting the type rating.
