I don't have a job, but I definately am set for when I get more hours. I got this opportunity through networking. When I was getting my private, I used to just hang at the airport all day and talk to everybody. I met a guy who flies a Navajo and started riding with him before I even got my...
just don't forget to look over those departure procedures.... there are lots of things that are never taught in instrument training. during training you hardly go IMC at night through mountains or even at non-towered airports... at least not in the south.... maybe some instructors do that, but I...
What I was getting at is that you can legally fly any multi un 12.5K lbs. If somebody wanted to share some flight time with you in a Seminole, then it wouldn't be a problem.
when you are told to descend at your discretion, that means just that, descend at YOUR discretion. those altitudes aren't mandatory, they are recommended, per say. so if you were descending through 6500 to 5500, i don't see anything wrong with that.
I appreciate all the replys but I never said I wanted to get a C-37. I'll be happy with whatever they want to give me, but I really want the F15C. I just didn't know if they would put a new guy in an executive jet like that.
thanks again

For all you people who like Mountain Dew
For all you people who like Mountain Dew, when I was in high school we used to drive to the beach and sit out there all night. Each of us would have a 2 liter of mountain dew and mix in some 151 and drink it like that. I swear that is good sh!t.
Thanks a lot guys for the responses! So in reality, the barb doesn't mean sh!t. As long as you do the procedure turn on the safe side, you can do whatever type you want.
Thanks Again.
After you received your licenses and ratings is when you really start to learn!
I was flying the VOR 18 @ TLH (Tallahassee) Sunday morning and approach told me to "Keep it in tight." Since he told me that, I just wasn't going to go out as far on the outbound before the procedure turn. Instead, the guy I was flying with (a CFII) told me to just make the procedure turn left...
This has nothing to do with your post, but my question has to do with manifold pressure, so I figured I'd put it in here.
When leveling out for cruise in the Navajo, I'll bring the manifold pressure back to 32" and props back to 22RPM. When I bring the props back, the right mp increases about...
I did a post quite some time ago... STAY AWAY!!! Friend lost 20k with those fuks. Anyway, if you searched like you said you did you would have came across this:

I found a book titled "Integrated Avionic Instrument and Flight Control Systems Specialist (F-15)" the other day on the side of the road. Can anybody tell me what this book is used for? I wouldn't think it's for the pilots, must be for avionics technicians?
Thanks,
Nick
