New SWA record at 380+ trips in one month?
Seems the average is about 120-130 trips per month here at SWA without even trying with less seniority and commuting for me at around 16 days off over the summer. With the guys working it averaging about 190 trips a month living in base over the...
Get over the merger and get over yourselves. Move on and stop the negative %$&^%&. Stop giving the haters on here reasons to comment like the typical suspects. They will do anything to bring us down because they went through hell for about 10 years and can't get over it themselves.
Life is not...

Or you could say we are all low cost.
No excuses from management about the pilots. Any screw ups are all on them and maybe other employee groups.
Excluding the regionals of course.
I have seen this before. This is a destructive path you are on with over 18000 posts.
What is your reasons for being on here?
Most of us think you have been upset at how things went for your company 5 to 10 years ago and are laying blame. It seems whenever someone has something positive to...
So within a week you can use your phones and tablets at Delta below 10k, but not SWA/AAI?
Why?
Because SWA has to create 100 jobs and committees to decide.
Seriously though why is this taking more than a week?
How goes it at other carriers?
Well I hear some of the Southwest pilots are making what I might call stupid money over there, and it scares me a little. Hearing 10 hours of sick a month, so everyone calls in sick to drop trips into open time for others to pick up at 150% or 200%. Capts making 360k to 400k and FOs 180k to...
RSW FAs harass FAT FA
Hearing in Bwi and Mdw the FAs just getting there are being treated poorly. Especially senior FAT flying with junior RSW. It got so bad some are crying. I know u need thick skin with pax, but I guess now with those u have to work with too. Heard one rsw said to a fat...
You didn't get the 20% like I was hoping, but you came close. I am glad for you guys.
I suppose you are going to talk the whole leg about money now like the Southwest pilots I jump seat on do.
Add in lots of vertical movement in seniority too while you are at it.
Don't be ego maniacs and...
With all the mergers going on, and the flame bait do you really think that if management wanted to find out who you were on here that they couldn't??
All it takes is money, and someone running FI that wants it. Or a savvy hacker paid by management. And it is even easier if you told your...
This has been going on for months now. Gate agents list an off line jumpseater the wrong way and access to flight deck is denied. It is hard to get upset about this when Delta pilots tell me they have problems jumpseating on their own airline too.
Is there a memo or a page out of the gate...
A lot of talk about Gary Kelly's letter, and considering that Legacy pilots lost 40% of their pay and pensions worth another 120k+/yr for 16 years (Avg. retirement vs. lifespan = 60/76) in earnings towards retirement which way should it go?
The market decides and the market just got smaller...
We all agree we are far apart on this, so if you think your views are valid then you have nothing to worry about with arbitration. If mediation does not work out then arbitration will go your way.
One thing I have done that I am not sure many have done on here is put myself in the other guys...
Furthermore, the FAA has defined both AirTran and Southwest as “distressed carriers” so you can expect an increase in FAA observers on our jumpseats.
Per the FAA guidelines, any company experiencing a change in the scope and scale of operations (growth or downsizing), labor difficulties...

Fellow Pilots,
Last week, your MEC made the difficult decision to turn down the Seniority Integration Agreements (SIA) that the Merger Committee reached with SWAPA and SWA management. While the MEC sincerely appreciated SWA management's efforts on the economic aspects of the...

Why do you guys at SWAPA think that because we are getting a pay raise that you need to gain something from that?
You are not lossing a dam think from AAI guys getting a pay bump from this merger.
For you to gain something we have to loose something. Big because you are three times the...
