Does anyone know with United pilots current scope how many more large RJ's can be added? There might not be that many more contracts out there for United feed.

Based on the Vacancy Bid results that were posted yesterday and to be filled/trained by January 31st for the February bid month, the I filled vacancies are as listed:

I think the Majors are pretty excited about the shortage. They've been wanting to shed some of their 50 seat feed but have been restricted by long term contracts. With the lack of staffing regionals' performance will go below the contractual required levels and the majors will be able to...

Out of the regionals you mentioned, GoJets will have the quickest opportunity to upgrade. Although with your military background, if you already have Turbine PIC, I would get on with any regional get current and start applying for majors.
Or the American Eagle Captains who commute from DFW to ORD to fly the CRJ for an extra $4-$5/hour because they can't lower themselves to flying the ERJ.
The senior Captains and HR evaluators on major airline hiring boards have no idea the difference between one regional and another. If you get the interview you already meet the minimum requirements and at that point it is up to you to convince them that you are a worthwhile hire.
