Again, moderator reviewed.

The link stays up until we have an official request from the Spirit MEC to remove it. Even then I'll have to discuss it with the Webmaster, as it doesn't violate any of the T.O.S. - we'd only remove it as a courtesy to the Spirit MEC.

Moderator hat off:

It's out there now, you can't put that cat back in the bag, I wouldn't worry about it, Spirit pilots will vote however they think is necessary. I wish them all the best of luck.

Not exactly sure what you mean but any TA that comes out with the explanation don't worry, you will only be an FO for 2 years will get a no vote. Anything less than 65 to 67% of Capt's pay will get a no vote and the Capt's better get a fat raise. I will Accept nothing less than what a professional pilot is worth.

RIGHT ON! Now here is a man who get's it.

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica]New Spirit Pay Rates, F/O rates appear to be pretty close to 63% of CA rates after year 1.

If the person who keeps reporting this thread doesn't stop, I'm going to give you a Flightinfo vacation. You don't want one of those right now, too critical of a time, but I'm not going to put up with the repeated reports.

The Spirit pilots have the link to look at the T.A., so they get to read it at the same time the rest of us do.

Knock it off with the reporting of posts when your issue has already been answered, even though you don't like the answer. Again, have your MEC make an official request today if they so desire.

Thanks, for the "we suck" speech, and for your unwavering support. But the simple fact of the matter is that we have not seen or heard anything from the MEC or Negotiators at all, ZERO, ZILCH, NADA. It has been one week now, and they just updated the VARS. Did I mention how little we know about this TA? We don't even have highlights (which I am afraid they will be low lights) of the gains/losses or pay scales.

Which president?

Of the United States? No.

Of the HOA? Yes, my assessment last year went to fix the pot holes.

Mike - spellcheck your Avatar............ I think it is EPIC

I did not have to read beyond the Scope section to know this is another crappy ALPA giveaway. It is swiss cheese. You could drive a truck through it.

Pay rates suck as well. Obamaflation is going to be a huge factor in the next few years and those rates are going to be even more absurd than they are now.

Lear70 who is asking on here to not show this embarrassing TA to the world? Let me guess, the two troll cheerleaders that want us to accept below standard wages? lostplnetairman and his alter ego sailor or whatever, don't worry Lear70 he is doing that on other sites as well.

You don't have to swing at the first pitch if it doesn't look good to you. I don't think the company enjoyed the strike very much and I doubt they will want to take another one. There's room for some "tweaks" here without blowing the deal. The industry has been through some very tough times lately but it IS getting better and there's no reason why employees shouldn't benefit from the improvement. You will be working under this agreement for 7-10 years so make sure it's what you want.

I won't comment on the pay rates, but I can tell you that the Scope section would be an immediate non-starter for me.

In the end, the Spirit pilots have to decide what's best for them. Arguably, they won't be in a position to need or even desire RJ feed, but in 3-5 years, if Spirit grows the same way AirTran did right after AAI signed the last T.A. that is now our contract, you're going to WISH you had taken this opportunity to make Scope absolutely ironclad (or as ironclad as it can be in this industry).

Fixing it BEFORE you have any RJ's flying feed in 3-5 years will save you a LOT of headache down the road... There's enough RJ guys and gals there to understand why.

Best of luck,,,
