for the record, I could've held 727 Capt. ....unreal!

I start class Wed with the newest class of newhires - - half of the 12 have slots to upgrade to 727 FO already.

Of course I should have my head examined for diving for the slave ship - - I'll talk to y'all in about 10 weeks on the other side of the program.

How long are newhires sitting on the pannel before upgrading. And do most MD-11 FO waiting to bid captian on the that aircraft instead of the 727?

They haven't issued the exact training dates yet, only the seat awards. The newhires in indoc right now will be on the panel about 9 month (give or take) before they head back to training for the right seat.

The scary thing is...if you upgrade within the first year you are still on probation and are still an "at-will" employee.
