    And so it begins...

What an elitist. Why don't you learn some history about unions and solidarity and check in again once you're caught up.

    Emirates Looks At Transpacific Operation

At first I thought you were just a troll. Now you're making challenges and implicit empty threats on a message board. You're more than just a troll. You're a sociopath. If you really do fly for a living, please turn in your medical and get help.

    North American Recall

Hey Mods, How about moving this thread to Charter? I don't know why North American threads end up in Cargo.

For the love of Pete Great Lakes!!

Well, you could care less and that's fine. However, for me, I couldn't care less. Pilots need to get over themselves. Houston or anywhere in the US is not like Central Africa where you need to speak strict ICAO phraseology for controllers to understand.

Express Jet last flight @ TLC

I am not trying to be a smartass, but what is the big deal about a regional ending service to Toluca? I just don't get this water cannon and nostalgic hubbub. edit; typo

Can't make this up. A takeoff abort due to......

Nothing in the report indicated that the Captain thought it was "ok" to have it airplane mode. It was a statement of fact. You added the "but it's ok" part. Also, how is submitting a NASA report for this occurrence stupid?

Really? You could care less? For me, I couldn't care less about the 3 minutes he wasted.

    Airpac accident at Bayview Apt.

Seriously? 100-1/2? You knew it was old and you still spent 3 minutes of your "valuable" time reading it? And then complain?

I will Never Fly Spirit Airlines....

The scenario as written is plausible, no matter if the distance was 10 feet. The logic is just not that difficult to understand. I hope you don't have aspirations of becoming an attorney, or even a cheeseball private detective. Stick to your flying job.;)

    Cost of Private Pilots Training

Even for California, that seems pretty high. I had students in the midwest complete the pvt for well under 3k in the early and mid 90's.
