Funny you should ask. There is an article in the Jan 2003 issue of Pro Pilot Magazine. See if you can snag a copy from somewhere. We use Flight Pack....seems pretty good, but I don't really use it, you'd have to get a dispatchers opinion on that.
Good Luck,

I was thinking that this could be a fun thread.
If you could change any FAR, what would it be? How would you change it? Would you create a reg that doesn't exist now?
I was just wondering, are any airlines back to PFT yet? And I mean PFT in the original form, Pay the Airline or FSI for training and get offered a job as long as you pass training? I am not referring to the Gulfstream Airlines type of thing where you buy 250 hours of time.
Is it back yet?
I don't think this is politically correct, but it definately seemed to apply to all of us on Flightinfo.com.

Ok, fine. Since many people on this board seem to think that employee concessions are not necessary at UAL, what is the solution? Since I don't work at UAL, I don't have a first hand perspective of things, so I would love to hear some ideas from others.
What do you think needs to happen for...
Just wondering if anyone is using any of the paperless cockpit systems out there. I would be real interested in hearing about your experiences.
* Are they easy to use?
* Cumbersome in the cockpit?
* FAA legality?

I am a Corporate Pilot and do a little instructing on the side for a few friends. One of my students (PVT/INST) is interested in getting his Multi-Engine Rating. I currently instruct him in his Cherokee and don't have access to a twin. He is on a very hectic schedule and it is hard for him to...

I heard of an NPRM a few months back that was going to revamp the requirements for Part 135 Proving Runs.
Basically, it was supposed to eliminate having to do the proving runs for every new airplane type. You would just have to do them for each group like Multi-Engine Turboprop, or...
For those that haven't heard, the Chief Pilot announced that they will be recalling approximately 33 Pilots between February and April.
Its a start, and I must say better than expected.
