I was just wondering, are any airlines back to PFT yet? And I mean PFT in the original form, Pay the Airline or FSI for training and get offered a job as long as you pass training? I am not referring to the Gulfstream Airlines type of thing where you buy 250 hours of time.

Is it back yet?

Oh, NO!!!!!!

You just HAD to stir that pot, didn't you Mr. 500? Don't you have anything better to do?
:D

1800RVR,
You just go sit reserve and be quiet! :D

LearLove,
That's good to hear. Thats what I thought.

Thanks,

P-F-T

I wasn't aware of any new ones as of our dinner last Tuesday.

Let's hope not. But, if a "discussion" ensues, count me in. :D

I think Mr. JetPilot500 is just trying to stir the pot...

Next thing he'll be asking about is RJDC!

Did I just say that out loud???

Forget I just said that R-thingy.... La, La, La, La,.... EIEIO, LMNOP, ARSA, TRSA, ILS, VOR!

Ok, I'm better now.... I think!

Please, no?
Not another PFT thread.

It's like buying the lates issue of Flying magazine and seeing articles like "Finally the truth about icing" or "Secrets about getting your instrument rating."

By the way whats the RJDC?

Only joking:D :D :D

I was only joking, honest.

ASA program has started again at FlightSafety. Pay 25 grand and get in the right seat with 300 or so hours...This is a fact, there are 70 people on the list to be interviewed right now, they have taken about 10 or so people to start the 4-5 month course.

Now a pay for your captains respect program, you may have to wait a few thousand hours for that one.

To be technical about it....

FSI ASA isn't PFT...you are not paying the company for the job.

Oh, and from the ASA guys I've talked to (only a hondful to be frank), the FSI guys have done really well.

Not flaming, not extending PFT thread, merely setting record straight...

Chunk

Chunk, Chunk, Chunk,

"FSI ASA isn't PFT...you are not paying the company for the job."

I must say old boy that that is a little used opening gambit that has huge potential! You may get a bite with that one.

It was a dry, hot, stagnant day out on the savannah,

the herd grazed restlessly,

the thought on everyones mind:

"Will we stampede?"
