Chickens...

Man...all of you are sooo lucky! Monday through Saturday....I wake up with the chickens (5 a.m.) and go to sleep with the chickens (9 p.m.).....

Unless I happen to open the freezer...and see the Vodka or Knob Creek.....:D

And I am so use to waking up at that time....even if I go to bed on a Saturday night at 2 a.m.....that natural alarm clock in the head wakes me up at 5 a.m., 6 at the latest!:(

Seems like once a month or so there is a thread on here that just cracks me up! Well this is some of the best stuff I've seen for a while!

bin LAAidoff - that was classic! LOL!

So what's happening on Y&R these days? Doesn't that come on around 11?

Good luck all.

You guys who get up at 11am must be morning people. It's usually 1pm before I even think about waking up. Then again, i can't really fall asleep before 3 or 4am. Those 0' Dark thirty in the morning charters really throw me for a loop.

Do you guys ever wear the same clothes two days in a row? Not that I've ever done that, but I was wondering if maybe some of you had.

Today was a 2:30 PM day. Weekends I usually wake up between 3-5. My whole goal during the week is to get up by 1:30 to catch breakfast at the local diner, I was able to make it once this week, the other days I wasn't close. I'm that guy you see at walmart shopping at 4:30 AM on a monday. Can't wait till those 5 am runs at OTS, that'll be interesting.

Yeah, once in awhile when I have a 3am or 4am show for a trip, I just don't go to sleep. I find it easier than forcing myself to sleep at 1 or 2 just to wake up two hours later.

I'm always amazed by my fellow flight crew members who request a 5:15 wake up call for a 5:30 van. I need a minimum of one hour to get spooled up for something like that!

What I find most amazing is that this thread, MY thread, was dead for 16 months or so... And was then resurrected! Thankfully, I don't have to worry about my sleep habits anymore, I work 20 days a month and have not choice!!

Here's the skinny. I 'm a commuter so I usually bid commuteable lines which mean I gotta get up early, commute in and have early shows so I can commute home on the last day. At home on my days off I usually get into this rhythm here:

Get up at aroung 10:00 am. get online and check e-mail, my stock portfolio (Ameritrade), Yahoo business airline news, this website, my union website, and CBS Marketwatch. Then I go turn on CNN and see who's bombing who, then the weather channel. Then I go to HBO, or sCinemax and scan for nudity. If not then off to PPV Spank-ter-vision and see if theres any boobies.. err movies to watch. As a last resort its Price is Right (and not for Bob Barker).. not that there's anything wrong with that, just not on my watch if you know what I mean! Then its either back to bed to jump on the girlfriend if she's home.. if not well then... ugh... you know... its there.. so use it or lose it. (By the way.. its like a different woman if you switch)!!

If I don't fall back asleep, then its off to the bathroom for the three very important "S" words that begin with "SH" and rhyme with hit, flower, and pave.

Then its back on the internet to see who's bad mouthing me here at FlightInfo.. so be careful what you say.... I'm watching you know!

That pretty much sums up my day.

BTW... folks the above is not true, it was just a joke.....I go straight to PPV porn after I get out of bed.

oddtodd is still at it.:p

Nice job.....no one has yet to notice that this thread has been ressurrected (did I spell that right?) after a year and a half of being DEAD.

Good work hiding the truth on that one, oddtodd.:D

And to think that most people on these boards are pilots trusted with thousands or millions of dollars of equipment but can't pay attention to the smallest detail.
