Raytheon Company announced today that it intends to sell RAC to Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, a new company formed by GS Capital Partners, an affiliate of Goldman Sachs, and Onex Partners. As indicated in my previous announcement, the sale will not include Flight Options or Raytheon Airline Aviation Services (RAAS), Raytheon Company’s commuter aircraft business.

Saw it on Fox news. Goldman Sachs and some other company.

Think in some roundabout way it's going to mean we'll get the Hawker 4000 any sooner? :D

That's exactly what I was thinking. That and I wonder what the price for a new bonanza will be next year?...we should do squares and bet on when that will be the first single to break a million.

I hope they change the name back to Beechcraft. Raytheon made a huge mistake changing the name. Why would you do that with such product recognition. That is like Coca-Cola changing to "Big Brown Drink".

I guess if I had read the Wichita Eagle this morning I would have known they were changing it to Hawker Beechcraft Corp. My fault.
