    Campervans in airport parking lots

    The alternative is what I did - buy a travel trailer and put it in an RV park near the airport. Hookups (water and electricity), and when the airline moves your domicile you just take it with you. I pay about $1000/year in lot rent.

    This is the silver ling for all the Comair folks - we're on the street ahead of the Pinnacle folks. The people that got furloughed from Comair (at least the ones I keep in touch with) are doing better than those of us still there. Irony.

    Comair may very well be shut down. But, nothing in any "bulletin" I've read recently would indicate that is the case. We'll know soon enough.

    May interject a clarification re: RJs as money losers? Delta does not lose money by operating RJs of any size. The way it was explained to me by a company beancounter, DL doesn't make AS MUCH as they would if the resources ($) allocated to RJs were allocated elsewhere. RJs do not lose money...
