XOJET, Inc. Reports Strong 2010 Second Quarter

How could one not be a big fan as a customer? A CL300 NYC-SFO, for example, for $19K? At NJA, that would run you over twice that in a G200. Personally, I wouldn't give them hundreds of thousands up front, unless in a protected escrow acct. If they are so financially stable, they won't blink an eye.

You know JJ, sometimes I think you are complete moron. However then you post things like this and I just about spray my coffee all over the room laughing. Very much along the lines of what I was thinking.

You're obviously correct, this was a PR piece. It probably should never have been posted because the reaction by some was easily predicable. I could have even told you in advance who the posters would be. JonJuan in particular cannot let an XOJET thread go by without trying to take a swipe at us. RNObased and Flylow22 are not much better, and frankly, I expected a few other known haters to chime in. It's sad, but for some reason, good news at XOJET makes some on this board feel somehow less about themselves and their own current situations. Whatever their agenda, the constant unsolicited and uninformed bashing continues to speak volumes about their character.

If you want to know what's really going on with the XOJET pilot group, stop by the cockpit on your next flight or send any of us a pm. We're a very happy pilot group, and we love chatting with customers. As for the true financial picture, we get the same story that was published, and I have no reason to doubt it. The one thing I can say is that each of our airplanes continue to average well over 100 hours per month in the slow season. I've heard from our Charter group that we have to turn down a significant amount of charter daily due to lack of capacity. What JJ and RNO always fail to mention is those cheap all in one way fares are only available on a very limited basis when the planes would otherwise be idle and only on the most profitable routes. It's brilliant.

Again, thanks for your patronage. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Please let your flight crew know if there is anything we can do to make your flight or entire XOJET experience more enjoyable.

The report as others perviously (and correctly noted) contains absolutely nothing concerning financial data. A key word which all are looking for is "profit". I didn't see it anywhere, just a PR (get us in the news) piece.

Cry me a river X-rated. Whale Rider loves to post fluff pieces out of magazines or newspapers that no one has heard of and we can't take a swipe at you?? Grow up, a article in the North Bay Bugle isn't proof of anything.

I have spoke with your pilots, the ones that I have spoken to have said that moral is at a all time low, because the company is asking them to work for basically free. What you fail to mention, is that more then ONE of your crews has told me you are basically working 9 on/5 off, and some of these days are out of kindness of their own hearts. Now I don't see any press releases about that. My character is fine, is your management's???

First of all, I agreed with you that the article was a PR piece, so I'm not sure where the grow up comment came from? Thanks for you're concern, but I assure you my eyes are wide open. My comment addressed the fact that jonjuan in particular and you to some degree have lost credibility because of your constant uninformed or misinformed attack on all things XOJET.

The overtime situation was an issue. It's been resolved effective October 1st with a return of overtime pay. All extra days worked previous to that date have been compensated with a day off at a future date of the pilots choosing. It certainly wasn't ideal, but no one is working for free. Check back with your friends, I think most of our issues have been addressed in a favorable way.

Our company is not perfect. Neither is yours. We started our restructuring a full year year before your company did. We had Siegel, you have Sokal. Difficult, unpopular and in some cases wrong decisions are made by these fat trimming specialist CEO's. Siegel has moved on to his next project now that we are financially where we need to be. Our new CEO and President are much more employee friendly, and things are starting to get back to normal. Our current President is a former NetJets/EJM exec whom I've never heard anything but good things about, so I'm optimistic. So far, I like both of our top exec's, but I realize that's not nearly as popular as chanting management sucks on FI.

In any case, I don't care to roll in the mud with you or anyone else about the subject. I simply wanted to give an XOJET customer an XOJET pilot's perspective.

This is an excellent company. The fact that they do not have to make public any information, but choose to even though some may use it against them, proves my point. Any business person knows that if you give away free information about profits or revenue, competitors will try to find a way to take a piece of your market. It is good to see that XOJET is secure enough in its strength to be able to make positive statements such as this.

XOJET is a joke in the industry becasue of this crap. Why should it be your job to explain this stuff?

Let it go no one sees this stuff anyway it's not like it was in Forbes or the Wall Street Journal. Didn't even make AIN so who cares. Why argue if the pilots are happy thats what matters. After all who knows a company better than the people who work there. Sounds to me like a good place to work. It is hard to get national coverage you need to have much more market share that's the reason they release stuff to these media outlets that have about 5 readers and are just happy to have something to write about.
