Location:
FLL
Required Travel:
None

Job Type:
Full-time
Employment Type:
Permanent

Description:

We are seeking a pilot who will live aboard one of the largest and most
luxurious superyachts in the world. Tosca IV is a 1500 tonne, 65 meter
motor vessel with a range exceeding 27,000 miles. Fax: 770-445-0702

Requirements:

The pilot should be a CFI and hold an ATP licence with significant multi

right candidate. We currently also own an extremely well equipped Golden

right candidate should expect to fly several hundred hours per annum,
fixed wing and rotary.

Ouch:eek: Man that would be a cool job if it weren't for having to work on the boat when you weren't flying. Flying a brand new jet and a brand new helicopter would be great.:D

Ok- I would do it if:

a. I could keep my wife and she would travel with me.
b. I got paid the amount that is truly what I am worth - $150,000 a year with tickets home twice a year for the both of us from where the ship is and 4 weeks a year vacation.
c. Sell the 421 and get a proper aircraft.

On second thought, screw it - why don't the just get some slaves to operate this cheap @(!*#&!'s boat!

What you guys don't think it'd be cool working for "Blofield"(sp- James Bond villain). I'd love to fly old "Blofield" to his yacht. Just think- that customs guy that was giving you a hard time or that FSDO not approving a LOA, just tell "Blofield" that his plan for Global Domination should start by "eliminating" the Nice customs police!

Obviously I’m just kidding, it is a crappy job!

From personal experiance, these guys owning these many "tonne" yachts can, and do, pay over $250K/ per"annum"

Dont they realize they are paying for their blue eyed pilots?

Come on ya'll, you don't think zipping around the middle east (ie Egypt) in and underpowered, overloaded light twin for $50k a year would be fun. I am sure habib would give you a raise after he gets to know you. Think about all the nice towel heads you would meet.

War Eagle Sir......

Dont forget, you may have to file down Mamas bunions when you are not busy. Maybe wash the toilets. I thought the 50K was a slap. I agree, even if it is offshore, that is only about 60 to 68K. To be on call 24/7? Wow, where do I sign up.

Please note that if you are married and want the job, get divorced, because
you will not be seeing your partner again

Wow, that is Ballsy.

Definately would have to put at least a "1" in front of the 5 for any realistic consideration and a contract.
