Newsflash on CNBC. Up to $30 each way.
These increases are coming more frequently; let's hope that most of them can stick.

Followed colsely by the "Latest Fare Increases Fail to Stick" thread.

Okay just kidding (I think). For everybody involved, I hope this time is different.

A much bigger percentage of them have been sticking this year than in past years.
They can also manage yield by changing bucket sizes, but these increases hit the bottom feeding $99 transcon fare customer. There is no reason why air transport should be cheaper than greyhound.

And in similar news, today Southwest released "Ding Dong" fares which will reduce one-way fares by an average of $30.

ha, amen to that. Southwest is pretty cut through. Why can't everyone get on the same page with these fare increases?

Geez. You DID get hired by United, didn't you?
Just what UAL ALPA needs - another brain dead alpa cheerleader. Like we don't have enough of them on property.
Have you built a shrine to Mad Dog Dubo yet?

Andy-

Please.... if I got hired at Yonited that would only cheapen the status of your employment there...

You are still better than me.... don't worry... :)
