Does someone not understand the electoral process in the US.

If your question is directed at me, I understand it perfectly. I would be willing to explain it you you, along with my previous question and comments. And I promise to go S-L-O-W.

If not, then disregard; and maybe whomever you directed your question to could answer you.

LOL. No it wasnt directed toward you it was meant for the post further up. I think the same one you were replying too.

Catch 22

Yep, I'd feel soooo much safer if Gore were running the program. (note the hint of sarcasm)

However, job security with the airlines would probably be better. Herein lies the dilema. Republican at heart, democrat at the airline. What's a guy to do?

can i quote you on that?

and i gotta agree....GO HAWKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is not Washington's job to protect my career. That is a socialist viewpoint. Washington's job is to create a level playing field i terms of law and justice. SWA and many regionals do not seem to be worried.

I wish all of you Bush-bashers could pull your collective heads out of your a--es long enough to realize that the economy is only VERY loosly tied to the president's actions.

I don't think you are going to like the results of the next elections either.

Go W.

What's to understand? Clearly Gore did have the majority of the popular vote, just not the electorate. Nothing liberal about the facts.

That's a good point. Bush inherited a downward spiraling economy from a guy who did very little about the Bin Laden/Hussein issues, sold secrets to China, perjured himself, and pardoned criminals as his last heroic act.

However, it'll be the Republicans who once again introduce legislation that will provide for baseball-style arbbitration for the airlines. Say bye-bye to the real nice contracts if that happens. You too SWA. And for the commuters, well, let's just say it'll affect everyone.

Once again, this is my dilemma.
