I live about 15 miles north of HQ. I can be there in about 20-25 minutes, a little longer in traffic.

March classes....

probably not..... spoke with my favorite peron in DAL today, LL says April "likely" 2 classes, then a "chance" of 2 in May, 1 in June...... all still under review. Does anybody know, when are the Olympic trials?? Perhaps we can put together a syncronized swimming team for the country of Poolaratus???? Hey HOUMAN, can we use your flag for the country banner???

On a bright note;

DALLAS, March 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Southwest Airlines Co. LUV announced today that the Company flew 3.4 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs) in February 2003, a 6.6 percent increase from the 3.2 billion RPMs flown in February 2002. Available seat miles (ASMs) increased 4.4 percent to 5.4 billion from the February 2002 level of 5.2 billion. The load factor for the month was 62.5 percent, compared to 61.2 percent for the same period last year.

For the first two months of 2003, Southwest flew 6.8 billion RPMs, compared to the 6.4 billion RPMs recorded for the same period of 2002, an increase of 7.2 percent. Available seat miles increased 5.3 percent to 11.4 billion from the 2002 level of 10.8 billion. The year-to-date load factor was 60.1 percent, compared to 59.0 percent for the same period last year.

This press release, as well as past releases, can be accessed on the Southwest Airlines internet site at: http://www.southwest.com .

Looks like those of us in the 50-75 range on W8N's list are on the bubble to get in this year...... please, oh please?! dry us all off soon!!!!!?;)

Trying to maintain my sanity...... looks like several "adult" beverages on tap for me in NEW this evening....... where's that tylonol bottle???

Keeping the Faith - Tred

JA?

Flint: I'll bite. What does JA stand for? If its some kind of mandatory call in to fly open time are you saying that they are going to need some more new hires at Southwest soon? Just curious.

Signed: Another poolie looking from the outside in.

Pilot hubby has been called by scheduling (JA'ed) more in the last 5 weeks than in the previous 2 years. My understanding that there is a lot of JA'ing out of OAK.

From a dedicated lurker, hoping all you poolies are working for SWA sooner rather than later.

horse race ...

Wonder if I'll be activated to go to SWA before I get called to go to SWA ...
Those who are activated - stay safe, keep the faith and thanks.
