Spirit had been advertising on their website, but that position is no longer there. It could still be them, though.
Other candidates would be Miami Air, Falcon Air Express, and the remake of Caribbean Sun (the name doesn't come immediately to mind). Slim possibility of IBC Airways. I think that is most of the part 121 Pax carriers in southern FL.

That is an internal post. If you notice, there is no method to send your resume' and cover letter. You basically need someone to walk it in. (I don't work for AS so please don't ask.)

On another note, I think the posting is a formality. The acting Director of SOC is the person you'd need to take in to consideration. He has been there for 25 years and seems to be a "shoe in"....providing they offer him the right amount of $$.

Yes, AS is a non-smoking company. To be eligible for hire, you'd need to have quit 6 months prior. (They DO test for nicotine prior to employment)

Just curious but how long has AS had an 'acting' director?

I would imagine they could test blood, urine or a hair sample. I did a quick search and it seems nicotine has a short half life and is not detectable after about 4 days, so you need to check for by-products. For 6 months, I think they would need to check hair.
