It wouldnt bother me a bit if we bombed those Euro-trash, socialists just for general puposes... Paris is a diry, dump and the woman dont shave. Thats good enough reason for me to bomb em.

Boeings, Airbuses, thats all well and good but, we all know that Douglas built far superior airplanes, since the begining, civillian or military.

I was at wedding last year with two American pilots. One was a 777 check airmen and the other was a Mad Dog 80 FO. I told them how I was in love with the old Mad Dogs and really wanted to fly one when I made it to the big show. The 777 captain looked at me and said, "Boy what the hell would you want to truck around the US in an old beat up LBDT." I ask him what LBDT meant and he said" Long Beach Death Trap". So now my fiance only knows what a MD80 looks like and she screams "LBDT"

To each his own

When they fly the 777 to the desert, they will ride back in "LBDT", ask any 707 driver.

Don't forget Lockheed. To bad they never made it in the airliner market.

The L1011 TriStar 500 was their last airliner. The L188 Electra and M49 Constellation and Super Constellation were significant airliners in their time.
