We put $1800 in Signature EWR's pocket yesterday. Snow from previous day melted and re-froze. We figured we'd have to be going about 500kts on takeoff for it to blow off... ;)

I didn't de-ice at all last year (except to knock off frost early in the morning). This is the first time this year.

Maybe I'm missing something but for other aircraft I've flown, we had a step-by-step checklist for deicing. The G550's QRH doesn't seem to have one. I guess as long as you have the APU off, everything else is ok.

B-J-J fighter--We adhere to holdover times just like 121--our QRH has the same charts as the airlines.TC
