I have never had privileges revoked, although I was delayed in taking a checkride or recurrent (I don't remember which) session right after 9/11, but it wasn't for more than a few days. I stayed on as a regular crew member though. As stated above... "makes a lot of sense doesn't it!"

i've been flying for a us regional since 2002 ( as a green card holder), have never have any problems having my "background check" done at my 6 month sim session, it has always been taken care of by the company, you should be fine

Yes as long as you have the right to work in a European country just like Europeans have to have the right to work here (Green Card). It is no problem.

Can't blame the brits for wanting to give up their english citizenship. In all fairness, they don't even have the balls to say they're english. They have to use the "brit" label.
