I have never had privileges revoked, although I was delayed in taking a checkride or recurrent (I don't remember which) session right after 9/11, but it wasn't for more than a few days. I stayed on as a regular crew member though. As stated above... "makes a lot of sense doesn't it!"
 
I think we should just take people like you lead them off into the woods and be done with you. Go back to Britain!!!

i've been flying for a us regional since 2002 ( as a green card holder), have never have any problems having my "background check" done at my 6 month sim session, it has always been taken care of by the company, you should be fine
 
Can I work in your country as a pilot? Probably not. These folks should stay home and off the radios with their broken English as far as I'm concerned.
