Anyone have any experience transitioning from non-military to military?

I'm 31 with only a 2 yr. degree so Warrant Offficer in the Army is about the only way I can see myself sticking with aviation...

I've got the usual 6200+ TT with most of it being jet turbine time. Furloughed now and not much chance of finding a good job any time soon.

I've spoken with a recruiter, but from what I've read, most of them will say yes to just about anything to sign you up. However, most don't know the ins-and-outs of becoming a Warrant Officer simply because they are used to signing up fresh from highschool guys with zero chance of flying helo's. I've also heard the paperwork is a bi$ch ..

Anyone who flew helo's for the Army have any thoughts or perspectives or tips..

Thanks

I was under the impression that it was 33....may have read it somewhere on the army website..I'll double check though....I've got 7 months til the 32 mark....yikes!!
