Hi!

The fingerprinting and the class are TSA reaquirements. I think all 135 ops' pilots need to be done by Apr 1. Apparently, 121 cos. went through this earlier, and all new hires get this done in indoc. The 135 regs JUST were finalized-last minute rush!

I just got printed today, and am taking the class tommorrow.

I got printed the other day. I work for a company that operates under Raytheons 135 certificate, and they havent said squat about a 4 hour class. Cant find any literature anywhere about a 4 hour class.

The training required for the 12-5 security program involves the In-flight Security Coordinator (ISC) and the Ground Security Coordinator (GSC). 2 hours each. The ISC is automatically the PIC (I believe) and most 135 ops will have to assign double duty to the flight crew for GSC as well (due to the unscheduled and random locations charter flies to). I could give you more details, but then I'd probably be arrested for divulging "sensitive security info".
