Nothing on the line other than what the company has said. First rule of VSP club: Don't talk about it.
The company has another year and half ish. Could they offer this same package next summer? Don't count on it, but if numbers are too low, why not?
I revise my estimate. 63 total will take VSP. The remaining "highly experienced" pilots will work till: a) loose medical, or b) die.

How many SIC's take deal?
There actually a number of FO's with military and or Airline pensions who may leave. Imagine if the final tally is a majority FO's with 9-11yrs seniority? Not the big cost savings they were hoping for.
Those who worried about a possible downgrade in three years will...
I know of a late 70's pilot with nothing to do but this job, sad really.
Each situation is different, throw in multiple devorces, a furlough or two, and money is tight.
Tell your buddy that the Global 7000 is never comming here.
I'm going to make a hundred copies of that VSP email package...
Be prepared for lots management bombardment as there siege of Netjets is being threatened.
Tell one tell all this is not your Grand daddies Netjets and I would not work here if other options are available. Use us for a type rating and move on.
Games and tactics to scare the membership is par for the course. I don't understand how management doesn't view pilots as an asset rather than liability.
Ego is a powerful weapon for self destructive behavior.
Management types or company suck ups. It doesn't matter how much you would get paid, the model was flawed and destined to fail union or not. Feels good to blame somebody though.... How about blaming management for charging too little?
Time to right this ship, how about a mass rebid in the next CBA. Let's see what everyone's seniority will actually hold. Not going to happen as management like to have there cake and we get it shoves down our throat. Bypass pay for all. Better yet, one level of pay for all. International...
Ok
So a super seniority list is not the answer, but a regional only union is! Every airline would have it's on division and a rep on a super council from every airline to vote on policies to advance the whole pilot force. Think about it, ALPA is using you as a whipsaw to improve lives at...
As a former regional pilot with a few airlines I can state ALPA does not have your best interest at hand. Time for a super regional airline union which represents the pilots. An impending pilot shortage in a few years combined with new restrictions on hiring. Use this leverage to improve ALL...
Pl21
Fusion would be awesome, but the PL21 will have Synthetic vision and option for RNP 0.3 approaches. Still improvements over current PL21.
I agree with above posters in terms of owners not caring about cockpit features, more improvements like 2.5 inch taller windows and fully interactive...
Njasap
I am a looker on the private board. There is too much junk for anything posted of relevance if your not in the club. How many crewfood, bad hotels, or photo shopping can i get. Maybe they need to Facebook with each other and limit posts relevant to the masses and not where to tune up...
