FDP program is contractual so it is still in place. What has changed recently at Flex regarding pay, schedule, and benefits? Everything the same as it has been?
Oh I'm pretty sure my 1.5% gets more than paid back with zero premium health care, higher salary, higher retirement contribution, and solidified work rules. I'm quite happy having representation. So, it seems, are 90,000 other unionized professional pilots.
NJA does the match for 20% during the year, but will do a catch-up match at the end of the year for contributions over 20%. So, the full 9,805 is available to everyone who puts away the maximum allowable 401K contribution. I was putting away 15% into my 401K as a new hire. I would have...
Seems like a nice piece of union-busting work. Flex guys, I am not the world's biggest union lover, but I absolutely know that having a union is far, far better than the alternative. Vote wisely.
Everyone is affected. We will all go from the ability to fly past 65, to having that decision made for us. Perhaps if we weren't literally having people flying until they stroke out on the job, the age issue wouldn't be on the company's radar, but, this is the reality we face.
