A Courier Company says "You will rent or fly your own aircraft (single engine only) and pick up a stack of documents. Then fly to the destination and deliver it using a crew car, taxi, or rental . Then fly home. "

Wouldn't that be charter unless the Courier Company leases the airplane from the owner who is to be the pilot (or) the Courier Company leases or rents the airplane and hires the pilot separately introduces the pilot to the rental company and then makes sure the pilots is approved under the rental comanies insurance requirements including the proverbial one hour checkout.

It sure sounds like it to me!!! A not very good sounding operation,either!!!
