I am considering working for Southwest airlines as an Operations Agent at BWI. Any reason why I "should" or "shouldn't" work for this airline and in this particular job? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks....

Heck man, what's the harm? Travel bennies are nice if you have time.

Just be sure not to burn any bridges and keep your nose clean if you want to fly for them later on.

What's your story? What kind of hours do you have?

Usually I say stay away from that- if you want to fly for SWA I wouldn't work for them in any capacity except a pretty short internship-
Your efforts are better spent flying and pursuing that.
Believe me, we have more than a few ops agents and FAs etc who started on the pro pilot track and ten years plus + later they're telling us all about how they could've been:)

But that's w/o knowing anything about your situation
