Thank you for proving our point. It's no wonder waveflyer keeps calling you a wannabe scab. You already did screw over your brothers once before and still defend it.

Wrong, the pilots and members of the CMR MEC, couldn't see giving special treatment to DALPA,s pilots. After all, giving a position to a Delta pilot implied that Comair pilots would be given reciprocal treatment at Delta and the DALPA supported hiring policies at Delta would prevent that. Don't be surprised if the people you treat like second class citizens seem to occasionally resent it. If you don't get it, try striking. This is similier to what occurred between Frontier and United in 85.

Condom Air, Delta Protection.... Those guys just never figured it out. They tried to compare themselves to DL, and they just.....weren't. The ASA guys helped out, and a lot were hired in 07/08.

Bye Bye---General Lee

Let me get this straight. There is no good reason for the bulk of the regional pilots to ever accept artificial barriers supported by ALPA which impose standards which have nothing to do with skill, experience or safety. In fact I suspect most of the regional pilots have far better qualifications.

Can you say that five times fast? Can you say that in one breath? Jeeeez-us! Btw, DL pilots do not run hiring, DL HR does. And, many Regional pilots, including Endeavor pilots, are being hired right now.

Bye Bye---General Lee

HR at Delta like other companies is basically comprised of over educated secretaries. They get their qualification data from pilots. Guess which pilots inevitably wind up in management and set the hiring requirements that HR uses. Just a few years ago you couldn't get an interview with Delta unless you were ex-military. That's OK, I'm sure all of those regional pilots will assist in any labor problems you should have.
