Ummm yeah, because if US merges with American, Parker will offer Delta +1% to get a combined pilot group. Whereas if American exits on it's own they'll be under a forced bankruptcy contract earning significantly less. Hey, I hope you're right and the AMR pilots are dumb enough to fight a merger, because I don't want to be furloughed.
