Just on the Washington fox 5, United Express lands with nose gear up at Dulles.
They say it was a E170 and there are passengers are being taken to the hospital. Anyone hear anything else?

Heres a posting:

Chantilly, Va. (AP) - A scary night for some passengers at Dulles airport (website - news) after a plane had to make an emergency landing there Wednesday.

A United spokeswoman says United Express flight 7512 landed just after 8:30 p.m. while its landing gear on the nose of the plane was still up.

The flight was headed to Dulles from Houston, Texas.

Fifty-six passengers and four crew members were on board at the time, and the passengers were evacuated while on the runway.

Washington Airports Authority spokeswoman Tara Hamilton says three people are being taken to local hospitals, but she did not know the nature of their injuries.

Only flight plan on flightaware for a 170 in there is 7504 a shuttle america Flight..... Hope all are ok.

From the quick shot I saw, it looked like the nose gear was extended. It might have been the camera angle. There was foam on the runway, though.

1.) Med-Star Helicopter crashed just north of Washington Hospital Center on a golf course. Pilot called emergency. Unknown problem. Snagged a tree on the emergency landing. All survived but with various injuries.

2.) Leesburg, Va - unknown aircraft had either landing or takeoff problem and crashed on/near runway.
