TSA in DFW panics over a microphone

A screener saw a "pipe with wires inside" on the x-ray, so they evacuated the terminal and called the bomb squad.

The suspicious item turned out to be a microphone.

I'm all for being cautious, but aren't these people being trained at what a real bomb looks like?

Saw it on FOXNews channel...they had the BDU there and everything. I'm suprised they didn't toss the bag in and blow it up - then claim victory over terrorism. Well, I guess the local cops are much smarter than the TSA....luckily.
