Members, lately we have been getting allot of questions and complaints about why we move threads... I hope to explain one of our major reasons for you here.

We would like the members to use ALL of flight Info by using every room in the building.. If every topic is posted in the majors or regional sections, as has been allowed to happen to some degree, then finding specific information is like going to a library with all the books from Romance to car repair piled in the middle of the building...
No one wants to walk into a business and see a toilet sitting in the corner and the kitchen sink in one and the office in another.. There are rooms for each purpose, and the same is goes for Flight Info.

As an example: Employment related issues like this (PIC Turbine time) is valuable to all types of flying.. Cargo/LCC/Regional/Major/135.. But if this thread is posted only in the Majors section (as this topic was) then it can easily be missed by the other members that look in the employment sections for this information.

When People can’t find the information in the section that make most sense they naturally will post another thread asking the same questions that have been answered in a thread that is in the Wrong place.. Then we get merged posts and everyone gets upset..

Flight info would like to expand the employment section down the road as well as other sections, so we need everyone to use all of the web site, Please scan all the "Sections" that would be of interest to you.. Once done, then a member can go back to the section that covers their type of work issues or specific operations.

This is the main reason we would like threads to be in the right location of FI... so the information can get the maximum use by everyone in aviation. We would appreciate it if everyone would start your threads in the correct section and please don't be offended if some are moved, it's all to keep FI organized.

Thanks for your help.
