So after the CFI's organize, if a guy does Part 61 instructing in his airplane, will he be branded a Scab?

I don't think you understand the concept. The idea would be for ALPA to get the CFI's thinking about the state of the airline industry, not the CFI industry.

I've always felt that the only REAL power a union can have is the power to socially ostracize those who don't play ball. Whether it's ethical or not, it has worked in the past. Everyone's heard the stories of how captains would keep scab lists in their hats, and wouldn't so much as say hello to crewmembers on that list. It wasn't so much that this happened that much, it was the FEAR of this happening that kept most pilots from crossing picket lines.

ALPA's biggest tool they could use today would be very similar--start a media campaign to let newbies know what kind of a life they are really in for, and let them know what is and isn't acceptable voting behavior. Most new guys just want to fit in, so this could have a great effect on curbing destructive SJS behavior.

Too bad the current leadership seems to have a severe case of myopia, though, so don't look for any full-page ALPA ads targeting new guys anytime soon.

ALPA has the infrastructure in place with the national education committee. Too bad that political correctness gets in the way to make it work like you describe.
 
So if I instruct in my Bo and don't pay dues, am I a scab?
Yes and every time you jumpseat, someone who pull out a list of CFI's who instructed at non-union wags. This would probably include a father who taught his son to fly for free. However if the father is already a dues paying union airline pilot there will be a wavier cause in the contract.

But what if I bill $75/hr? That would likely be higher than union wages. Wouldn't I be helping the cause? In this case, the union should pay ME, right?
 
ALPA - a, so called union, whose members are fragmented and fight one another for work. An organization in which one group can vote to work for substandard wages which in turn drives wages down for its other members.

ALPA is a dinosaur. Every airline under the SKW umbrella needs to unite and form our own in house union. Can't dump ALPA fast enough!

Can't do that until Skywest pilots vote to make SAPA their union and then demand one list in negotiations.
