What about his background? Long time SWAPA volunteer, or newbie? What was his platform? (non-SLI, of course)

What's it matter? This is democracy at its finest. Sometimes you may not like the outcome, but it's important that you stand strong with Mr. Chase...Unity is our strength!

In Unity,

Steve has been on the BOD a couple of times - not sure what committee work he has done.

Stand up guy who will fight hard for our pilots whatever the situation.

He's a pilot advocate, not a politician.

I've never met him, but his actions are what got him elected.

I've flown with Steve on numerous occasions, he's one to be all business when it is time to be, and he's not primarily a politician. It is going to be a good fit for us. As far as the Trannies go wanting to know about Steve, when you guys get over on our internal boards you will be able to learn ALL about us and anything we have been saying. Of course, that same priviledge will not be available to us.

Dick

What "priviledge" wont be available to you?

As soon as you guys are Southwest you'll have full access to the SWAPA forum and Pprune - with full history research ability.

We won't get that from your board.

The Airtran pilots will meet Steve Chase soon enough! :D
