Stanely Cup Gets Bumped from Flight

Apparently even if your luggage is a 35lb shiny trophy, it can get left behind. Probably not great PR for AirCanada.

One of my friends (who is also on my hockey team) works for the NHL. He said that the guy who travels with the cup signs for it when he checks it in and at the other end. The only way it doesn't get on the flight is if some one tampers with it! The Air Canada employees all knew what the box held and where it was supposed to go! We'll see what excuse the investigation comes up with.
