Does anyone use one of the wx apps available via Sprint's PCS Vision service? Somone in the crew room had it and pulled up real time weather radar on his phone. It looked pretty neat. I know there are a few wx apps to choose from, which is the best? Is it worth the $15 monthly fee?

Thanks

If I could use it in the EMJ instead of the sucky WX radar, I'm all for it!

When I used to fly night freight I thought it was worth it. In my plan Sprint covered $5 in downloads per month. So it was basicly free for me to download it. I use the internet on my phone all the time to check email, minutes left in plan, movie times, and lookup phone numbers.

I didn't like the weather channel one as much as the other one. I can't remember the name of it.

The apps they offer are these:

The Weather channnel
weathernews
my-cast weather
accuweather
realone
1ktv

Any of these the one you used?

My cast and TWC. I liked the looks of TWC, but my cast always worked the best.

I use My-Cast and it's great. Allows me to see the weather in motion and the best way around it when there is no wx radar at an outstation.
