Good job? The wing didn't fall off, it was a cracked windshield.

Of course the crew did a good job.

Surviving an abnormal is not what they should be lauded for... monkeys can survive. The FAA trains monkeys.

Professional Crews survive while doing the expected and trained for procedures AND communicating with the cabin, reassuring customers and providing the "polish" that isn't common in all areas of mass transit aviation as in decades past.

That "polish" is what will continue to erode as the Professional Pilots who came up through decades of mentoring by other Professionals give way to "Academy Graduates" and pilot puppy farms.
