Does anyone have any info on the FBO's that offer SkyWest Sim Prep in SLC or California? How much it costs?

Any info would be very helpful.

Here u go!

American Air Academy 801-537-1537 they have an 810 that is identical to the one at SkyWest interview...ask for 2-3 hour session with Kevin Strain, he helped me out a lot! Do not underestimate the sim eval...it is no give me, act as the PIC and go for it! They want to see you take control of the situation, 5 of the 8 people I interviewed with failed this portion of the interview!
Good Luck, JP

I agree with JOPILOT. Kevin does an excellent job. The SkyWest sim eval. is not easy and you can not go into it cold. I watched a number of interviewees with 121 experience walk out the door due to their performance in the sim. The prep is well worth the $100 or so investment.

spent a bit more than $100, but...

well worth it. double ditto for Kevin Strain. He's awesome.
I also saw a few at my interview fail the sim...no prep
The other main benefit is that the instructors (at least Kevin anyway) know the SkyWest profiles & approaches that they use. You use those for the prep and then don't go to the interview cold. It helps tremendously.

Good luck!

Prepare

I had a buddy fail the sim eval because he did not prepare, he even flies a Brasilia!

KSAS::

Yes, American Air is on the GA side of SLC, right next to
where SkyWest recommends you stay at the double tree,
I would guess you could get a day with Kevin a week in advance.
He is really helpful, I thought his ride was more difficult than
the day at SkyWest!
