Does EJA require pilots to resign their seniority # from previous employer?

Thanks!

Yes, they will make you give up your number. They make you write a letter of resignation that they forward to your former employer.

I didn't have to resign my seniority number when I went to EJA. However, I was with Midway so maybe they figured it would just be a waste of time, paper and resources to resign my number since I will never be called back!!

However, if they ask me - I will happily comply.
