A thread to remember one of the greatest pilots to ever live. He was a pioneer in supersonic flight and a hero to many young kids growing up wanting to fly fast jets, including myself.

Tomorrow night, I think I'll watch "The Right Stuff" in his honor and lift a glass full of a cold amber-colored beverage and make a silent toast.
