Looks like there's an opening at Saudi Aramco. They don't mention what airplane it's for... Can anyone provide any info on their department? Bases, QOL, pay, etc would be great. I gathered from previous threads that they base pilots in the Middle East, I was wondering if they have any planes based in the US at all.

Based in Saudi. Dammam Airport I believe. Need to be typed on 737 or E170. Used to be full time, I think its back to 6mos. contract.

Don't know about the larger aircraft, the 767 was a regular visitor to Houston years ago. I interviewed in Dallas for a Hawker position back in '05. Base was Dammam, accomodations in a compound. I came away from it with a bad vibe and decided against it. Had the feeling that because they were throwing a bucket of cash at you, that they owned you. Later learned that the relationship between the expats and Saudi pilots was strained, at best.
