I would be hesitant. The original Quickie wasn't too popular probably because the similar 2 place Dragonfly and Q2 came along shortly thereafter and didn't use a lawn tractor (Onan) engine. The landing gear is also the primary lifting surface and is subject to abuse that may go undetected until it fails. Also, these airplanes were very inexpensive and therefore may not have gotten the best of care, which may also be hard to detect. Folks who are into Long EZ's, Defiants, etc. would be the best judge of workmanship and wear.
