At their current rate of retirement for both ANA and JAL, they will have to start parking A/C's in the near future and this is with current fleet numbers. Sure they are pissed off because the junior guys want to fly the 400's and that is understandable, but airlines in Japan will have to increase their hiring of Expat drivers to continue to grow. Besides, they would be doing a favor to the Jalways drivers by releasing them from their contracts at this time with 747 types and experience on the A/C's.(as some of their captains told me the other day) Individuals with those kind of hours can get DEC's on several contracts world wide right now. So go ahead Jalways, fire them all. I double dare ya!

So did the training to the -400 continue or did it stop? What's going on at JALways now?
