Red Arrow days are a methode by which ASA scheduling shows what days have low coverage on reserve. This generally makes it difficult to impossible to swap trips hence plenty of heartburn. Looks like there was some new software introduced that allows for actual human intervention if the swap results in a decrease of these days. Before, the computer decided and generally did a poor job of it.

Should dispel some of the heartache with this issue.

Gottcha...so a red arrow shows up on the staffing grid to show low coverage? So the arrows can appear and disappear based on numbers at any given time, right? Thanks for the info!
