I find it absolutely incredible that anyone would effectively put their professional life on hold for a decade waiting for the entry level job they had 10+ years earlier to re-open.

Sooner or later, don't you have to just move on?
Some of us have and find ourselves in a worst predicament.Glad life is warm and fuzzy for you. I find myself not current with recall rights. Not sure if there the kiss of death or not. Try finding a job with recall rights in this environment. I tried calling Eagle to get hired if they start hiring. The first problem they had with the potential of me working there was my recall rights
to AA.
