Is the Astra a thing of the past or do some still desire it without boosted controls? What is a "run out" worth? Would you purchase one over the Raven if price was right? any other comments welcome...

You can still find them, but if it needs an overhaul, Robinson highly recommends adding the hydraulic system to it. For the 2007 field overhaul kit prices, it listed adding the hydraulic controls to the Astro as standard equipment. Somewhere around $40,000, I think. It flies like a big R22.
