Can a AA f/a currently employed by AA, not on LOA or furlough work as a f/a outside of AA? Please site the contract or manual that covers this issue if there is any language to address this. Thanks

AMR strictly prohibits any employee from working for another company especially while on LOA. They allow you to work somewhere else if furloughed.

Could you cut and paste the applicable language you say exists out of a manual or contract you have?

It is not part of a contract or manual. It is HR written policy they tell you about. You would have to contact AA HR for a copy.

Here's an excerpt from my ethical handbook,

Rule # 103

While taking voluntary leave from a current employer, it's unethical, and in bad taste, to aid a competitor to said employer.
