Does anyone have any leads or ideas on how to get a position flying for relief organizations in Africa or South/Central America? Do they take pilots with FAA ratings or must you move there and convert your licences? I'm interested in hearing from anybody who has flown in such a capacity - either PM me or reply.

Thanks in advance

A few ideas...
The first one that comes to mind is Airserv. www.airserv.org
Also check to see what Operation Lighthawk is up to these days
There are some missionary type outfits in the us that fly abroad, though I don't recall names. Good luck
