Can anyone tell me what hiring is like at PDT right now, and how likely it would be for a new hire to get EWN or CLT?

Also, how long is reserve lasting? How many days off are reserves getting a month, and how long is the call out?

Thanks.

Can't say much about the hiring, but I may be able to help with the other questions.

1. Getting CLT isn't going to happen, as of 1 May CLT is no longer a PDT base.

2. EWN, maybe - maybe not. The last 2 classes only had 1 new hire go to EWN. 4 - SBY, 1 - SYR. 4 - MDT, 3 - CHO.

3. Reserve lines have 10 days off per month.

4. According to section 25.F.1.e: a reserve pilot is required to report from call out within:
A. 120 minutes at LGA,
B. 90 minutes at airports with busing operations,
C. 75 minutes at all other airports.

Sorry, I was wondering why a pilot was posting the question in the F/A forum.

Back to the question at hand, PDT has been hiring F/A's nearly every month this year (only Feb didn't have a new hire class). According to the seniority list there hasn't been a new hire F/A awarded EWN since Jan. With 2 base closings (CLT & PHF) there has been a lot of shuffling in both the F/A & pilot ranks. I know that there has been at least a couple of F/As quit from EWN recently. Whether that means any new hires will come to EWN is anybody's guess.
